The Hippo Trail - decorated hippos in shops, hippos on pots, hippos on paper, hippos on canvas, cardboard and screen. Even a hippo in a viaduct (in the library). You must see this while you can.

The Lamppost Gallery - 5 outdoor photographic galleries hung on lampposts by Leeds Photographers

Strychnine Lounge - Live bands and cold (or warm depending on your preference) beer at this new regular music night in Pudsey.

Bands in the Park - 7 young bands from west Leeds playing live in Pudsey Park. Hosted by Radio Aires Larry & Paul.

The Marvellous Tea Dance - It started here at the Festival 6 years ago and we just cant let go of this brilliant event. There is no tea dance like it in the city and the cakes alone are worth coming for.

Solaris are a group of fantastic acappella singers who have just appeared at the Cleethorpes jazz festival, catch them in Pudsey Library (yes you heard right Pudsey Library) in a fabulous free gig.

Citizens' Orchestra & Tea Dance - Our fantastic festival house band The Citizens Orchestra play their anniversary gig for you to enjoy along with a traditional tea dance of ballroom and sequence numbers. And free tea and cake.

A Bramley Bonanza at Bramley Shopping Centre featuring Play It Again Bram - live piano playing & requests by a tag team of pianists on the pavement. Plus The Return of the Bramley Two - a new live Dance performance. Plus a visit by Trundle The make, Bake and Grow Touring Caravan with its free family activities. Its a jam packed 3 hours with something for everyone and its all free!

Festival Young Writers in Residence Word Cafe - Hear what our writers in residence have been producing whilst having tea and cake (there seems to be a lot of tea and cake at this festival). Five fantastic young writers are creating brand new pieces of work inspired by the festival. From love poems to the number sixteen bus, to comic strips inspired by the marvellous tea dance, a writing tour of Armley Town Street and monlogues inspired by the stories of Armley Mills
