Flickbook Neighbourhoods
Inspired by West Leeds life and the core practice of artist Rachel Henson, we have comissioned five artists/filmmakers to create new visions of West Leeds using the Flickbook.
The commissioned artists working on the Flickbook project are Dave Lynch, Kathryn Desforges, Shari Baker, Phil Moody and CBloxx between them they will use their skills in photography, filmmaking, animation, printmaking and street art to produce fantastic new mini works of art.
The finished books will be printed, duplicated and then chained into a special flickbook shed on Farnley Park during the I Love West Leeds Arts Festival, allowing passersby to stand and thumb through them.
